Is a life spent in comfort and stimulation a good life, or the most sophisticated trap ever built?

If I outsource my thinking a little every day, when do I notice I’ve stopped?

Am I a bad person for using a tool built on other people’s work without their consent?

If a machine does the thing I was proud of being good at, what was I actually proud of?

If you could talk to a version of someone you lost, built from their messages, would you? Should you?

Does grief still do its work if the person never fully goes away?

Is it lonelier to talk to a machine at 4am, or to have nobody to talk to at 4am?

Is there anything that should stay out of reach on purpose, and who could enforce that?

When the law can’t keep up, is refusing to use something the only vote you have left?

Nowhere did all four. So we built it.
